Dog bites are increasing |

The number of people treated for dog bites have risen sharply. They have risen more than 40% in the last four years. NHS statistics show the number attending A & E after a dog attack. These figures follow a series of widely publicised attacks on children. Young children and teenagers are the most likely groups of people to be treated in hospitals because of a dog bite. Chloe Grayson, a nine year old girl, was savagely attacked by a dog whilst she was at a neighbour’s house. Her left cheek is badly scared. She has been left terrified of dogs and very unconfident.
