Budget – The Rise Of Cost For The Uk

The annual budget plan was released yesterday as the prices of many day to day essentials were increased.

The rising cost of alcohol was intended to reduce binge drinking but at the cost of only 33p for a 275ml bottle of Bacardi Breezer, certainly not enough to stop young children at the age of 13 – 16 from getting drunk and causing disruption throughout there local town. Although for the special occasions bottles of champagne rises another 18p, while vodka rises 55p and a pint of beer rises 4p.

Government believe that the rising cost of road tax will help global warming, the average U.K homeowner will be pressured into paying double what they already pay just to keep there car on the road. This will mostly affect gas guzzlers such as 4X4's and other big cars. The rationale behind this is penalise cars which polute the atmosphere the most.
The chancellor told the BBC there was help for people "facing difficulties at the moment" such as pensioners and poorer families with children.
