Fabio Capello has described striker Wayne Rooney as "a crazy man". Wayne Rooney received a second yellow card after outrageously throwing the ball at referee Phil Dowd. He then punched the corner flag after being dismissed.

Capello singled out Rooney for a warning at a team meeting ahead of Saturday's match with Slovakia .It is likely that the striker may not feature in Saturday’s game.

The 23 year old striker has frequently had trouble with his temperament on the pitch, receiving 3 red cards in his short career. Rooney will miss United's 5 April meeting with Aston Villa, a crucial game in Manchester United’s title race.

The Italian boss hopes a gentle warning will be enough to remind Rooney and others of the need for discipline as they hope to make it five wins from five at the top of their World Cup qualifying group against Ukraine on Wednesday.
