All Primary Holiday Courses are Currently FULL

Central Manchester City Learning Centre runs a series of 1 day courses during the half term holiday. The CLC is based in the grounds of Trinity High School on Cambridge Street in Hulme (just opposite the Dental Hospital). The courses are provided free of charge by the CLC in partnership with your child’s school. However, your child will need to bring a packed lunch and some change if he or she would like to use our hot and cold drinks machine.

Lights, Camera, Action will be run on 6th April 2010 and is currently full. This one-day fun project will allow students to learn how to use animation creation software called Stop Motion Pro. Children will be able to design and build their set, make their characters, and then make use of digital video cameras to create their film. They will then edit their animation using video editing software called Pinnacle Studio 10 to produce the final version of their film.

Let’s Anim8!” will be run on 8th April 2010 and is currently full. This is a one-day project where students will be introduced to the skills required to create impressive and dynamic animations of their own. The project will make use of 2animate, Macromedia Flash MX and Kartouche.
